Terms & Conditions
("Terms") govern your use of iDeliverr’s platform ("Platform"), including our website (https://app.ideliverr.co.uk/) and mobile applications, which connects users ("Clients") with independent service providers ("Pros") offering handyman services, rubbish removal, cleaning, and related tasks ("Services"). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and all supplemental policies.
2. Service Model & Liability Limitations
A. Platform as a Marketplace
iDeliverr operates solely as a technology platform facilitating connections between Clients and Pros. Pros are independent contractors, not employees, agents, or partners of iDeliverr. Clients contract directly with Pros, and iDeliverr assumes no liability for:
The quality, safety, timeliness, or legality of Services performed 18.
Damage to property, personal injury, or disputes arising from Pros’ work (e.g., improper rubbish disposal, accidental damage during cleaning) 811.
Pros’ compliance with laws (e.g., waste disposal regulations, insurance, licensing) 19.
B. User Responsibilities
Clients must verify Pro qualifications, licenses, and insurance before booking. iDeliverr’s optional "Verified Pro" badges indicate only that a Pro completed onboarding steps, not a guarantee of competency 1.
Pros warrant they:
Maintain valid insurance (public liability, workers’ compensation) and licenses required for their Services 19.
Are solely responsible for tax compliance, tools, and work methods 110.
Will not subcontract tasks without Client consent 7.
3. Payments, Cancellations & Disputes
A. Payment Processing
Clients pay through iDeliverr’s third-party payment processor. Pros receive payment minus iDeliverr’s service fee (15% per transaction) 10.
No Refunds for completed Services unless iDeliverr determines a material breach of these Terms 10.
B. Cancellation Fees
Clients cancelling <24 hours before a scheduled task forfeit 50% of the service fee.
Pros cancelling repeatedly may face account suspension 13.
C. Dispute Resolution
Clients and Pros must resolve disputes directly. iDeliverr may mediate but is not obligated to do so 8.
Claims against iDeliverr are limited to the service fee paid for the task in question 1.
4. Insurance & Compliance
Pros must maintain insurance covering property damage, bodily injury, and third-party claims (minimum £1 million public liability) 9.
Clients agree to secure pets/children during Services and provide a safe workspace. Pros may refuse unsafe tasks without penalty 13.
5. Limitation of Liability
iDeliverr is not liable for:
Loss or theft of Client property (e.g., valuables damaged during cleaning) 811.
Pros’ failure to adhere to local regulations (e.g., improper waste disposal fines) 9.
Indirect damages (e.g., delays impacting project timelines) 11.
6. Governing Law & Arbitration
Disputes governed by UK law.
Users agree to binding arbitration for claims against iDeliverr, waiving class-action rights 18.
7. Amendments & Termination
iDeliverr may update these Terms with 30 days’ notice. Continued use constitutes acceptance. Accounts may be suspended for breaches (e.g., fraud, safety violations) 113.
